Ms. Marvel- a superheroine we can relate to

If any of you read Amazing Fantasy issue 15, ud know the story of Peter Parker: an ordinary teenager who faced regular teenage issues and eventually became the superhero known as Spiderman. Well as of February a revamped version of Ms. Marvel has come out and followed that theme with a modern diverse twist. Enter Kamala Khan- a 16 year old Muslim-American from Jersey City who is a regular girl. She struggled wth her family’s religious beliefs, wants to go to parties and makes Avengers fanfiction on her computer. Then a strange mist falls upon her and transforms her into the new Ms. Marvel. That’s basically the first issue in a nutshell but personally I love it. This is a a new and diverse hero who we could all picture ourself as. She must balance the responsibilities of being a hero while trying to find out who she is and what she wants to be with these powers. I don’t have a star rating yet but if I did I’d give it a 5/5 and would highly recommend this series to all of you. That is provided ur reading this 😉
